Housing designs created by McCaffrey Homes in Fresno and Clovis took top honors recently. Kevin L. Crook Architect, Inc., the architect of the award winning home said a much wider audience was kept in mind when the homes were imagined. “These homes were designed for flexibility, enabling them to appeal to the broadest possible market,” Crook said in a statement issued by McCaffrey Homes. This is the third consecutive year that the company has won a gold award for their designs. This year’s design was picked due to its use of space, taking advantage of the square footage. According to PCBC judges, the plan “lives larger than its square footage. The (Genoa) great room incorporates the popular L-configuration for the kitchen and dining, while orienting all living spaces to the rear yard patio. From the entry and throughout the house, the eye engages with the outdoors. This is a well-crafted house that offers the personalization option with the third garage bay at a price point that creates value in today’s marketplace.” Examples of the Genoa and McCaffrey’s other designs are available to view in the Madison Place model complex at Gettysburg and Hayes avenues in northwest Fresno, and the Palmina model complex located at Barstow and DeWolf avenues in Clovis. |
